The event kicks off on Friday, April 29, 2016, and runs over two weekends. Bring your appetite to sample seafood and BBQ favorites from local vendors, including fresh boiled crawfish, cajun specialties, burgers, and vegetarian items. You'll also find plenty of snacks and a few ice cream vendors to get you through the day.
You'll find a kids zone, carnival rides, and music stages inside the festival grounds and an assortment of vendors and booths around the event grounds. This year's music lineup includes Reckless Kelly, Asleep at the Wheel, Kevin Black and Thunder Soul and you can buy tickets to individual music acts online. Be sure to pack some blankets and bring a camera to make the most of the event.
The event takes place at Preservation Park in Old Town Spring, a historic settlement with Victorian-style shops, old-fashioned restaurants, and cozy homes.
